What are Crypto Stamps?

On June 11, 2019, Austrian Post AG launched, in cooperation of Capacity, a never before seen series of stamps under the brand name crypto stamp. This special stamp series is the world's first stamp using blockchain technology.

The first edition is limited to a total of 150.000 stamps and was sold out in few days. This attracted a lot of attention and led to various speculations as to which stamps were the most valuable. Within a very short time, a small market had established itself through crypto stamps.

On May 20, 2020, the second version of the crypto stamp was presented at the ANON conference, which also marked the start of the pre-sale. This aroused big interest again. The second edition has a total of 240.000 stamps. These are divided into four different animal-motives with 60.000 stamps each.

Non-fungible token

The digital wallet holds the Ethereum based counterpart of the physical crypto stamp a so called non-fungible token - NFT.

Different Stamp Colors

The digital token of the crypto stamp comes in different colored versions.

QR Code

Scan the QR code printed on the frontside of the crypto stamp to view the digital version of the collectible.

High Quality

The choosen medium for the physical stamp were credit card-sized cards, optically finished with hologram foils.

Limited Amount

The first edition crypto stamp production run was limited to a whopping 150,000 pieces which sold out in a matter of days.

Exclusive Edition

An exclusive edition of 999 golden Unicorns, which include a 1-gram real gold bar.
